New review of The Classical Organ
A new review in the June 2025 edition of the Organists’ Review magazine:
“This excellent recording intersperses five sonatas by C. P. E. Bach with a selection of Haydn's Pieces for Mechanical Clock and Mozart's Andante in F (K616). The organ of Sherborne Abbey is well suited to this repertoire, with its clean-toned principal chorus, and gentle and expressive flutes. Costin plays with unfussy authority in performances that are engaging in the liveliness of the quicker movements and the sensitivity of the slow movements.”
